What does my guarantee cover?
All of the televisions we sell are covered by a ‘1 Year Parts & Labour Back-to-Base Guarantee’ (unless otherwise stated on the advert). Please keep the invoice as proof of purchase and guarantee.
What should I do if my TV develops a fault?
In the unlikely event of a fault please contact us via email or by phone with your invoice number. Our engineers may initially call you to see if the problem can be resolved over the phone. If this is not possible, then the television will need to be taken to any Electronic World depot for a repair/ exchange. We will arrange to repair and return the product free of charge to the depot of your choice. If we cannot repair the television we will endeavour to exchange the television for an exact replacement or the nearest replacement in terms of specification. Please note all exchanges must be undertaken at the collection depot.
This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse (for which there can be no refund or exchange). Please check the plug, batteries, fuse and the manufacturer’s operating instructions before contacting us. We strongly advise you to retain all original packaging in case of a return, replacement or repair.
Return Within 7 Days
We want you to be delighted with your order. If for any reason you are unhappy, an order can be cancelled in writing within 7 days of delivery. If the product was supplied boxed at the time of collection you should return it boxed and with any other packaging, unused and in original condition with any accessories and any supplied free gifts. A refund will then be made upon inspection of the TV.
Items That Are Delivered
Any items that are delivered directly to your door must be checked before they are signed for. If the item is signed for, Electronic World cannot accept any responsibility for damaged items. Please open packaging and check the condition of the item before signing for it.
Any items that are delivered directly to you, the customer, come with a return to base warranty. In the event of a fault / repair you must return the item to Electronic World (Birmingham) or one of the Electronic World collection depots with prior arrangement. The item will be checked before signing for receipt and if the item is damaged, Electronic World will not accept the damaged product. All costs for returning the item back to Electronic World will be incurred by the customer.
