How To Buy
There are four easy ways to buy a TV from Electronic World:
Visit Our Birmingham Head Office:
- All stock available online is also in our Birmingham showroom.
- Open: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm, Sat 9am-3.30pm.
- Address: 208 Bromford Lane, Birmingham B24 8DL.
- Friendly staff ready to help! Free Parking is available outside the Electronic World depot.
Home Delivery:
- We deliver directly to your door!
- Pay online or over the phone (0121 769 2623).
- Delivery usually takes a minimum of 2 working days (depending on stock).
- Important: We only deliver to the card billing address for security. If the billing and delivery addresses don't match, you may need to provide ID via email. For delivery to a different address, contact us for further options (bank transfer is often suitable).
Pay Online and Collect:
- Click "Buy Now" to begin the process.
- Choose whether you'd like delivery or to collect from the Birmingham depot.
- Complete your order using the online payment steps.
Pay a Deposit Over the Phone, Balance on Collection:
- Call our sales team (0121 769 2623) to reserve your TV with a £50 deposit.
- Pay the balance upon collection with cash or card. Bring the card you paid with and proof of name/address (e.g., driving licence, utility bill).
- The TV will be demonstrated before you take it away.
- Important: No card or ID = no collection. We won't charge your card until the TV is transferred to your selected branch for pickup.
FAQs
How are our prices so low?
We have a special place in the TV market because we buy TVs that leading High Street Retailers can't sell. These TVs are classed as 'graded'.
What is 'Graded' Stock?
"Graded" televisions are items that High Street retailers can't sell for various reasons. This may be because the TVs are surplus stock, end-of-line productions, discontinued models, 30-day customer returns, unwanted gifts, or items with damaged packaging.
How can we trust the TV works?
When the TVs come into us at Electronic World, they are technically tested, processed, repackaged and offered for sale. Before sale, all televisions undergo a comprehensive quality control process by our engineers. If there are any minor cosmetic marks on the item, we will take a picture and include a description on the product page so you can be absolutely confident about what you are purchasing.
How is the TV packaged?
In most cases, the item will be supplied with its original packaging and will be "as new" – the items we sell are not used. If the original packaging is not supplied, we will supply other secure packaging to keep the TV well-protected in transit.
Do you provide a warranty?
All TVs sold on this website carry a 12-month 'return to base' warranty provided by us (unless otherwise stated). Our guarantee on all our products demonstrates our confidence in every product we sell. Upon collection, the TV is unwrapped, and you are given a demonstration of the TV for your peace of mind.
