This website offers a unique collection only service from any of our 6 Electronic World depots; Birmingham, Preston, London (Wembley), Essex, Weston Super Mare and West Yorkshire. You simply have to choose the depot you wish to collect from at the check out stage and leave the rest to us. No delivery charges apply. Please see the 'store locator' for more information on each branch location.
Once you have placed your order we will be in contact via email/telephone to confirm your order has been successful and to inform you your TV is ready for pick-up from your chosen depot. Lead times for collection can be up to 7 working-days because the goods are stocked in Birmingham head office and are transferred to your chosen branch once the order is placed. Collection is usually possible sooner than 7 days from the point of ordering because we do 2/3 deliveries a week to each Electronic World depot.
For your complete peace of mind the TV will be unwrapped and demonstrated when you go to collect it. You will be asked to sign a collection note to confirm you have received the item. Please open all packaging necessary for you to inspect the television. We will not accept any responsibility for damage noticed after collection.
We need to check your ID and demonstrate the TV therefore Electronic World does not allow courier companies to collect purchases on your behalf. However we will release the TV to a friend/family member providing they are able to supply the buyer's ID and card payment was made with.
When you come to collect your purchase you must bring with you:
1. Proof of ID - this must have your name and card billing address on e.g bank statement, utility bill, full driving license. Passport is not an accepted form of ID because it does not have your address on.
2. Payment method - If you placed the order using a credit/debit card online you must bring the card with you. If you paid by PayPal please bring 2 forms of ID with your name and address that matches the PayPal payment,. If you ordered the TV over the phone please bring the card the deposit was paid with and then you can pay the balance with cash or credit/debit card |
